After becoming an unexpected early retiree in my late forties, I unearthed my bucket list and challenged myself to the task of visiting each destination on this list. A few years later, with destinations regularly being ticked off, a new list was created. To date, usually accompanied by Darryl and his trusty walking stick, I have visited fifty-three countries.
